This one turned 5 Sunday.
Since my oldest Crew has never been the cookie cutter school student he’s very artistic thrives on different very hands on, I’ve really become quite the fan of the Montessori way. It’s a educational approach, freedom within limits, with a emphasis on independence. Wishing I could have gotten to Crew sooner but late is better than never. Cash is 4 and is loving his floor bed. So many unique ways to build on a child’s education even if they are in a regular school setting. We are excited to explore more with Montessori and create a more ordered environment & even more child friendly home.
So I found this brand ever/after and it’s the best! Meant to be moment when I got this package in the mail & find out we are practically neighbors! Also that she was so shocked that I had ordered from around town then sent a sweet note and extra tee! Go check out their amazing cloths.
Luna. Really does make our house feel more like Halloween. The quintessential black cat with enough white to be extra adorable.
Cash. A boy & his cars.
For me. This amazing new soap by Shea Moisture
Crew. This sweet guy, he’s becoming quite the little helper and totally accepting of his big brother role it’s taken some time.
So we are having a low week and there’s nothing wrong with that. We have all been under the weather & passing a nice little virus around such fun stuff. Anyways as we’ve been in the bed with stacks of Kleenex by our side the boys and I have been reminiscing on those warm sunny days we spent in SC this September. We sure are missing you North Myrtle Beach.
1.my new favorite candle from Dust Bowl Dry Goods
2. Crew lounging with his DS, try and get it away from him..
3.Acorns, my youngest is quite the collector of anything and everything.
4.A trip to pelicans before the end of the season. What will we do with no Icee’s?!
5.A book Crew is very interested in at the moment. The little prince. Crew particularly likes where it quotes “Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is exhausting for children to have to provide explanations over and over again.”
Today my youngest had a field trip at Patterson’s Farm. We fed animals, made a scarecrow, picked out pumpkins, and drank bottled Cheerwine from their store, so good. We had a blast & after the school festivities we hit the playground where Cash jumped around in corn. Hope you enjoy our adventure.
This is our kitten Luna. Luna means “The Moon.” I have to say we are completely smitten with our Halloween cat. She’s feisty & playful. Oh yeah and totally spoiled, she’s still drinking kitten formula. The new baby around here.
Pumpkins, corn stalks, cool breezes, & candy corn. October is in full bloom for us as we stop by farmers markets & decorate for our favorite holiday Halloween! So much to do & will be back with more pictures from the farm on Friday as my youngest goes on a field trip.
